Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue is grateful for the generosity of our supporters. Donations allow us to provide medical care, food, supplies, foster support, community programs, education, and other services that directly support cats and the people who care for them.

This Donation & Refund Policy explains how charitable contributions, adoption-related payments, and other payments made to Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue are handled.

All donations made to Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue are voluntary charitable contributions and are generally considered final and non-refundable.

Once a donation has been processed, it cannot be returned or exchanged.

If you establish a recurring donation, you may request cancellation of future scheduled donations at any time.

Cancellation requests must be submitted before the next scheduled payment is processed. Payments that have already been processed are generally non-refundable.

4. Adoption Fees and Deposits

Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue does not sell animals. Adoption fees are charitable contributions that help offset the costs associated with rescuing, caring for, and preparing cats for adoption.

Adoption fees are generally non-refundable.

In certain circumstances, Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue may collect a non-refundable adoption deposit when an approved adopter is matched with a cat but the cat will remain in foster care for a period of time before final placement.

This deposit helps support the ongoing care of the animal during the transition period and reserves the placement opportunity. If circumstances change and the adoption does not proceed, the deposit will generally not be returned.

5. Adoption Changes After Placement

Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue is committed to making thoughtful matches between cats and adopters. If an adoption placement does not work out, adopters are encouraged to contact us immediately so we can determine the best outcome for the animal.

The return of a cat to Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue does not automatically entitle the adopter to a refund of adoption fees or related contributions.

Our priority is the safety and well-being of the animal, and decisions regarding placement, return, or future care will be made based on the individual circumstances.

6. Event Tickets, Merchandise, and Other Payments

Unless otherwise stated, payments for event tickets, merchandise, sponsorships, or other fundraising activities are non-refundable.

If an event is canceled or circumstances require a change, Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue will communicate available options with participants.

7. Tax Deductibility

Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue is committed to providing appropriate donation acknowledgments and receipts when applicable.

Donors are responsible for determining the tax treatment of their contributions and should consult a qualified tax professional regarding deductibility.

Payments made through online platforms may be processed by third-party providers.

Furry Godmothers Cat Rescue does not store complete payment card or banking information. Payment processing is subject to the privacy policies, terms, and procedures of the applicable payment processor.
